My annual trek out to the Empire Polo Fields to attend Coachella 2009 is fast approaching!  Every year it's always a challenge to figure out who the must see bands are.  Especially since SXSW just finished weeks ago with 1500+ bands performing - crazy isn't it?  So this year, my main purpose will to dig my way through the crowds and speak to the sound guys and roadies that run this massive event.  Also, Esther Reyes (Editor for SW) will be testing out her new molded ear plugs from Starkey and let us all know how they performed.

If anyone has a must-see suggestion, please pass it on to me.  Since I've never seen Yeah Yeah Yeah's, they're definitely high on my list for Sunday night.  Of course I would be fool to miss My Bloody Valentine and Leonard Cohen....and Paul McCartney (who could pass up seeing a Beatle play!).  Anyway, stay tuned for my highlights and a few articles about the inner workings of a large music fest.
